So this just happened. I was gonna do electric blue, but in the end, of course I pick purple. I like it.
I’ve been seeing a lot of Animal Crossing giveaways recently and I want to participate!
This time around I will be having a...
You are my sunshine.
Yay!!!
There really is such a fine line between love and hate. But what, truly, do we hate? Do we come to hate that which we...
She moves, aloof, and oddly,
She’d just as soon as pounce on you as cuddle up to you,
Delightfully funny, and brightens your day,
But this little kitty is still a stray.
A stray because this cat doesn’t go in heat,
Rather it has no desire for anything like that,
And in a world where sex in our minds reside,
Well its a rule by which this cat doesn’t abide.
So the cat in cold wanders the wild,
Hoping for a home, as we all do,
And I hope the world realizes, and turns around her luck,
That a companion goes beyond someone to fuck.

It moves silently,
The grass is stepped on, but dares not speak,
For the hunter is on the prowl,
Fluidly moving over every obstacle,
Terrain a non issue,
It inches closer to it’s target,
Freezing when it’s prey suspects,
And continuing when it’s guard is lowered,
Until it comes within attach range,
It ceases all movement,
Save for a shiver of anticipation,
Before it leaps into action,
Coming down on it’s target with speed and fury,
Only ceasing when the deed is done,
It’s test of valor and honor passed,
It is the only true rush in it’s life,
For it holds the power of life and death.
And standing over the corpse it so skillfully killed,
Does it let out a satisfied meow.
This poem is for a friend, who has a dear little friend that’s in ill health and dying. I hope this is some comfort to her, and to anyone else in that position.
You took me in,
And I took you in.
I was a bit of a rogue,
And I could tell you were too,
I liked you from the first moment,
Though I didn’t let on too much for that fact,
I preferred that you worked for it,
It shows your depth and level of care.
And you proved yourself time and again there,
You built up a home for me and many others,
And always put yourself last,
Throughout blazing heat,
And devastating cold,
Throughout injury and illness,
You did all your could for us,
A spring of compassion that did not ever cease.
I know, I might have made things hard,
And sometimes, I made things hard for you,
But no matter the annoyance on either end,
I could always tell deep down, you really loved me,
And I could tell you knew I felt the same.
They say if you are a familiar,
You do not choose, or are chosen,
But rather are purely destined,
And if that’s true, I’m glad I was destined for you,
You’ve made my life, and made me, so much better,
And when I do leave, I know you will fight and grieve,
But I’m not worried,
I know you’re a strong one,
And I helped make you stronger,
As you made me.
Just know I love you,
And I am happy,
All thanks to you.
Walkin’ that way,
With a,
False-wire smile,
And a,
Mean little look,
To shoot,
To unwell wishers.
I’m looking for a little place to call home,
So every night I don’t have to go roam.
I’d love to clean these fleas off me but,
I’m always walking with that stray cat strut.
Waltzin’ away,
From a,
Empty food bowl,
And I’m,
Starvin’ a bit,
And feel,
A little unwhole.
I’m dancing an oh so delicate waltz,
Where everyone has seen all of my faults.
I’d love a little company but,
I’m always walking with that stray cat strut.
Walkin’ that way,
With a,
False-wire smile,
And a,
Mean little look,
To shoot,
To unwell wishers.
I’d like something of a pleasant touch,
But in my position I can’t ask for much.
I want a place I can call home but,
I think I’ll always be walking that stray cat strut.
